Summary
We provide disposable email aliases that forward messages to your real inbox. We minimize data collection, retain only what is necessary for forwarding and abuse prevention, and do not monetize your email content.
Information We Collect
- Alias records: Alias identifier, creation date, status (active/paused/revoked), and forwarding configuration.
- Forwarding metadata: Sender address, recipient alias, timestamps, and routing headers needed to forward messages.
- Delivery logs: Success/failure events for delivered messages for troubleshooting and anti-abuse.
- Account information: If you create an account, we may store your email address and hashed password or an OAuth identifier, depending on sign-in method.
- Limited analytics: Aggregate, non-identifying metrics about usage (e.g., number of aliases created) to help improve the Service.
How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Forward incoming messages to the recipient's configured destination.
- Prevent spam, abuse, and other malicious activity.
- Provide and maintain your account and the Service, including troubleshooting and support.
- Perform security monitoring and detect suspicious behavior.
- Produce internal analytics to improve reliability and features.
Content Handling
Emails forwarded through our system are processed only to the extent necessary for forwarding (parsing recipient header, removing certain tracking parameters, and applying anti-abuse rules). We do not read, index, or sell email content. Message payloads may be temporarily stored to ensure reliable delivery and to diagnose delivery problems, and then removed in accordance with our retention policy.
Data Retention
We retain alias records and delivery logs for as long as necessary to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations. Delivery logs and message payloads are retained for a limited period (typically up to 30 days) unless required longer for abuse investigations or legal reasons.
Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We may disclose information:
- To service providers who help operate the Service (e.g., mail delivery providers), under contractual restrictions.
- To comply with legal process, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety.
- In aggregate or de-identified form that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
Security
We implement reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect data. However, no system is completely secure. Do not rely on the Service for secrets that require end-to-end encryption.
Your Choices
- Manage aliases: You can pause or revoke forwarding for any alias from your account dashboard.
- Account deletion: Request account deletion by contacting us; we will disable forwarding and remove personal data in accordance with this policy.
- Cookies and tracking: We use minimal cookies required for site functionality; you can control cookies via your browser.
Children
The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
International Transfers
Data may be processed in countries other than your residence. By using the Service you consent to such transfers.
